• Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence)
• Tareekh (Islamic history)
• Akhlaq and Aadab (Islamic manners and character development)

All students admitted into the Hifz program will be placed on a 3-month probation.

Academic Program
(Kindergarten to Grade 12)

Our academic curriculum follows the Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines, offering the following core subjects:
• English
• Mathematics
• Science
• Social Studies
• Art
• Physical Education

We use a mix of textbooks, workbooks, and classroom resources to deliver high-quality education. Report cards are issued three times per year. The academic program is available to both boys and girls.

High School
(Grades 9–12)

Khairul Ummah Academy is an inspected and registered private high school with the Ontario Ministry of Education, authorized to grant Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credits.
To graduate, students must earn 30 credits:
• 18 compulsory credits
• 12 elective credits
Khairul Ummah Academy offers all 18 required courses as well as a selection of electives. For certain courses not offered by Khairul Ummah Academy—particularly in Grades 11 and 12—students may choose to complete credits online through accredited external providers. Our staff are always available to guide students in selecting the best options to support their post-secondary goals. Some students may also choose to take courses through online providers so that they can complete high school at their own pace and give more attention to the Alimiyyah program. More information on diploma requirements is available at ontario.ca.

Trips and Excursions

Each year, Khairul Ummah Academy organizes three educational and recreational trips for students. These outings are optional and designed to be both enjoyable and enriching. We make every effort to ensure that trip costs remain affordable for all families.
